Serving Our Communities 
for 60 Years

J.S. Mintz Plumbing has been locally owned and operated for 60 years providing quality service to Wilmington and surrounding counties. James Stanley Mintz Sr. first opened the full-time plumbing business in 1964 along with his wife, Loraine, and continued to operate the business from their Wilmington home until 1978. Presently, J.S. Mintz Plumbing is located at 105 Switchyard Road.

Mr. Mintz built his business on cultivating customer relations, building a foundation upon honesty and integrity. Upon his retirement in 1992, his daughter and full-time employee Cheryl Mintz Poole took over the business as President. Cheryl has operated the business with the same ethics that Mr. Mintz originally founded the business on. Nathaniel and Cynthia Moore are now the 3rd generation to be involved in running the day to day operations of the business.
